About Showcase Ontario 2007

Showcase Ontario is the largest public sector information technology education event in Canada. It draws participants from across the country, and in fact, from across the globe to learn how to serve citizens better through the use of information technology.

Customize your own learning experience by choosing one of the hundreds of learning opportunities. Share ideas, expertise and experiences with your public and private sector colleagues that will add value to the work that you do every day.

Each year, delegates come together to exchange ideas and network with their counterparts from other levels of government and jurisdictions

Not sure which program is right for you?

Do you have a best practice or lessons learned you’d like to share with your colleagues? Consider submitting for the education program. Each year, we have over 100 OPS presentations with previous topics ranging from “Tools for Business Transformation” and “Writing Effective Business Cases” to “De-Mystifying IT Forensics”.

Have you worked on a project that demonstrates service excellence, innovation or cost effectiveness?

Nominate your team for a Showcase Award of Excellence. Last year, we presented 24 awards in six categories ranging from initiatives that highlighted business value to those that showcased partnerships.

Is networking, teaching and hands-on training your area of expertise?

Then join us at the exhibition. Last year was the most attended exhibition to date with more than 7,200 visits over two days. What a great way to augment your education session, by providing participants with a “hands-on” training experience on the Exhibition Floor.
