2007 Education Sessions

Last year, over 20,000 hours of education training were completed at our conference. Following that success and your suggestions, we have created an education program that has adopted the “something for everyone” philosophy.

It is true that IT is at the core of our conference and we are proud to say that we are Canada’s largest public sector I&IT Education conference but we want to ensure we remain accessible to everyone. This year’s education program encompasses a wide-range of sessions and a newly revised certification program that is applicable to both individuals in business and IT.

Session and Wait List Policy

Due to the high demand for the Showcase Ontario signature 3-hour in-depth workshops and labs, participants will be limited to:

• Two 3-hour in-depth workshops or labs on Monday, September 24th
• One lab on Tuesday, September 25th
• One lab on Wednesday, September 26th

Please ensure you check in at least 10 minutes prior to your session. If you have not checked in to your session within the time noted, your seat will be re-assigned.

All 3-hour in-depth workshops and labs require advance selection prior to attending Showcase Ontario. If you have signed up for a 3-hour in-depth workshop and/or lab and know ahead of time that you are unable to attend, please update your registration profile by canceling your seat at that particular workshop/lab.

Waiting List Policy

All unassigned seats will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis, 10 minutes before the start of any 3-hour in-depth workshop and lab.
